Although CES 2015 is being waged with heat in Las Vegas, not all industry news these days focus on the popular American show. In India, away from the glare of international journalists, Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 , two smartphones in the intermediate segments.

With the launch of Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 for the local market, the new Galaxy E range takes some inspiration from top models of the South Korean manufacturer and stuffed intermediate performance in devices with more gloss used in relation to the traditional canons of Samsung. This change of aesthetic and technical positioning is part of a new strategy for the firm to streamline a range with an excessive number of barely differentiated from each terminal.

The Galaxy E5 and E7 have similar specifications, although well staggered. The Galaxy E5 employs a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED HD resolution, while the E7 incorporates a 5.5-inch screen apparently identical resolution and also based on the Super AMOLED technology.
