Samsung has begun rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates to its Galaxy S3 smartphone and user’s of S3 started receiving these updates in Europe and Poland. This hopefully means that International users or customers will see the Jelly Bean update sooner, rather than later.
As per my knowledge Samsung Galaxy S III is among the first eligible smartphone to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy S3 to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Before updating your Samsung Galaxy S3 to Android 4.1 Jelly bean, take backup of all your contacts, SMS and so on.
1. Update via OTA
If you choose this option and want to update S3 via OTA, then make sure you are updating via Wi Fi and also ensure that you have 60 % battery life.
From your device go through Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software Update and then tap on Check Now to update your device. Once that is done your phone will be restarted automatically and the updates will be applied.
2. Update via KIES
When you are updating your device the Samsung KIES, you should Install Kies on your PC and then connect your device to the PC. The KIES will automatically guide you through the instructions and follow the same to apply it.
Samsung has also revealed the complete list of Android devices that will receive the Jelly Bean update in the near future, which includes Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and Galaxy Note 10.
