After launching the HTC line with the One X, One  S and V, HTC officially announced the HTC Desire C. The new Android smartphone is an entry level, in fact it possesses a 3.5-inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixels), 4GB of internal memory (plus a microSD slot) and as expected it integrates technology Beats audio, runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 and 25 GB for your Dropbox account.

Also note the presence of NFC and confirmation of the processor, clocked at Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 (only) 600 MHz and 512 MB of RAM.

It will be available in this month, May 2012, it will reportedly be available in white and black colours.

Though there is no word on the handset’s India pricing, HTC Desire C is likely to be priced between Rs 13,500 to Rs 15,000. The smartphone has already been launched in some European markets.
