The new update 6.2 available for Google Earth android app on the Google Play store. With this upgrade, you’ll discover new features of exploration, visits and layers, sharing and more.

However, many users (including myself) have found that this latest version had become very unstable, it crashes, it restarts all by itself. In short, the application is moderately used. I think it also lacks a backup feature that would allow the application to cache the last session to avoid having to reload everything every time. A point which is to be perfected.

Find out the new features which are available for the Google Earth android app :

  • A one finger swipe to move the globe
  • A two-finger pinch and rotate to zoom in and out and rotate your viewpoint
  • A two-fingers swiped together to tilt your view
  • A one single finger double-tap to zoom in and
  • A two-finger double-tap to zoom out

If you are a tablet user then you can now enjoy a new Google Earth experience optimized for the large screen. With a new action bar, you can get easy access to search, reset-to-north, my location, and layers.
